You know how it works with the boys, right? It’s their homes first before anything else. Pals before gals, am I right? Bros before…well, you get the hint. Let’s keep this a bit PG13. The basic idea is that when it comes to Bromance vs Romance, bromance always wins.
This is why the movie industry loves to celebrate the bonds that men make. Bonds of friendship, I mean. Well, why not? A bond of friendship is the most sacred thing to a guy. If you think that romance would win in a Bromance vs Romance fight, you are wrong.
Has your boyfriend ever bailed on you for a boy’s night out with his pals? Then probably you know what I am talking about in here. As it turns out, it is a common thing in boys.
Bromance vs Romance: The Study Shows It All
Well, we have a new study to back up the talks. ‘Men and Masculinity’ did a study and some interesting results popped out. Well, as it turns out, men actually love the company of their bros over the romance of a girlfriend. Doesn’t that sound weird? Of course, it does.
But that doesn’t make it any less true. Having a boy mate and as a buddy is one of the most normal things for a man. The study also states that marriage and relationships are just secondary.
They are just a way to make the society feel better about their choices. To be a part of the society, to raise a family, to be a perfect example is the only mission.
The Bromance vs Romance survey had 30 men as the subjects. And they revealed some interesting things, to be honest.
It said that the trusting nature and the intimate friendship between two guys were the best. It gave them better emotional support than a relationship that is heterosexual.
The Real Reason Is Revealed
So, why do you think bromance wins in a Bromance vs Romance duel? Well, turns out the lack of judgment is the real reason here. Men don’t judge other men. It is simple as that.
While us women, we like to put our opinion on everything. This is the reason why men find it comforting to be in the company of their buddies. The men in the survey revealed that opening up to their male friends was comparatively easier.
They found more support in a friendship than in a romance. Now that is something new, right? Well, that is not true as men have always felt this way. And it is certainly not good for us women either.
Do you get it yet, girls? So, if your boyfriend ditches you for a boy’s night out, don’t be sad. That’s just what they do.
