If you are not able to step out of the house for some reason then there are alternative ways too. You can use fluorescent lights and screen out the UV rays and watch with a plastic screen. If you sit for half an hour daily up to 10,000 lux then it helps to cure depression problems.

There are many artificial light boxes that you can place beside your desk. You can also put beside your table while you wake up. Sitting up in the bright light and reading newspaper for 30-45 minutes will give you a sound mind. However, there may be some side effects like eyestrain and headache.

There are other treatments like antidepressant drugs. They can also get benefits from cognitive behavior therapy.

Eat Good Food

If you are feeling low then you don’t need to motivate yourself to eat healthy mood foods. Instead of all these, you can opt for the foods like popcorn, oatmeal, Nuts, egg whites, peanut butter, fruit, wholegrain etc.
